JUYOUNG CERAMICS, based in Vancouver, Canada, creates functional ceramic pieces, with a focus on everyday tableware essentials—plates, bowls, jugs, cups, mugs, and more in variety of sizes.

“ I often imagine what will served on my pieces, and how they will complement one another in shape, colour, and tone.” 

Juyoung’s work is timeless, yet undoubtedly current in design, natural and minimal in form. She uses simple lines, and is drawn to earthy tones and hues with occasional accents and playful colour palettes to bring warmth and liveliness.

Each piece is wheel-thrown and/or hand-built one by one, carefully dried, trimmed, glazed, and sanded by hand. No two pieces look and formed exactly alike - Juyoung embraces this as the most alluring qualities of ceramics.
